Quiet...
...Too quiet.
Felt like taking a break from the blogging and YouTube thing. Might start again though. Maybe. Technical issues are preventing me from finishing my Aussie Life video blogs, but hopefully I can do a last entry in the near future to wrap it up. Can't believe it's been over 6 months since I arrived home. Where did the time go?!

WHAT?!!!!!
Osama Bin Laden is dead.
I'm shocked. I never thought it would actually happen, but it did. My initial reaction was exactly the same as my reaction to Michael Jackson's death: "No way, that can't possibly be true." This time though, I'm actually happy the person died. He killed so many people and took away the world's innocence. I figured since we didn't already find him, he would just eventually rot in his hiding place and we'd never figure out where he ended up. It has also been speculated for a while that he might have already died.
I never personally knew any of the victims of 9/11, but for the families of those affected I hope you now have your proper closure. Karma came to Bin Laden in spades, so much that he didn't even get a proper trial or anything. Just shot to death.
The funny thing is though, Americans are being all patriotic and are all like AMERICA!!! If it had been Canadian troops who killed Bin Laden I wouldn't be all like CANADA OMG YEAH!!! Just some food for thought. Sure I was all patriotic when we took the most gold medals at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, but sports is different.
One interesting thing to note is that Bin Laden's death closely followed the anniversary of Hitler's suicide, April 30th.
